Homelessness in the Quiet Corner

0Comments

November is Homelessness Awareness Month and on Friday November 4th the library will be hosting a presentation from TEEG on the issues of  homelessness in northeastern CT, what is being done and how to help.  Come enjoy a cup of soup and fresh bread and learn more about important  local outreach efforts. Please register, and please bring a donation for  the Pomfret Community Market if you are able to. The library is an  ongoing collection point for the market, and whatever you bring will be  delivered to the monthly food drive at the Pomfret Community Center the  next day.

 Sponsored by Friends and TEEG.
