Town of Brooklyn issued the following announcement on March 31.
The Town of Brooklyn will be holding a special Town Meeting on Thursday, April 7, 2022 beginning at 7:00pm at the Brooklyn Middle School and via Zoom.
There will be four issues to vote on: Smoking Ordinance, Purchasing Ordinance, and Funding for the old Town Garage Roof Repair from two sources.
Immediately following the Town Meeting, a public forum will be held to discuss The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The forum will allow residents to discuss how they feel the Town should use the funds allocated to Brooklyn. A survey will also be available to residents via the website, or a paper copy can be obtained at the First Selectman’s Office or Town Clerk’s office in the Brooklyn Town Hall.
